Profile
Associate Professor Özdal Koyuncuoğlu, completed his primary education in Germany before continuing his secondary and high school studies at Konya Meram Anatolian Gymnasium. He studied Business Administration at the Free University of Berlin, completing both his undergraduate and graduate degrees in 2008 and earning the title Diplom-Kaufmann.
For more than ten years, he has coordinated the UNIKOP Consortium, which comprises 17 partner institutions — including 13 universities — and has enabled international mobility for hundreds of students as well as academic and administrative staff. He has also contributed to several European Union projects such as Main-Cert and AMCOM, focusing on competence development, certification systems, and professionalization pathways.
His doctoral thesis on Entrepreneurial and Innovative Universities was completed in 2018 and subsequently published as a book in 2020. As a faculty member at Necmettin Erbakan University, he brings extensive expertise in higher education sustainability, internationalization strategies, and digital assessment frameworks to the TranSustain HE project. His combination of academic knowledge, project leadership experience, and strategic insight makes him a key expert for advancing sustainable university development within the consortium.
This project is co-funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ Programme (2021–2027), Key Action 2 – Cooperation Partnerships in Higher Education, administered by the Turkish National Agency (TR01), Grant Agreement No. 2025-1-TR01-KA220-HED-000362010.
